This module makes it easy to manage and track multiple revisions of job cost sheets. It adds version control with automatic revision linking and allows seamless navigation between Previous and Next revisions for better comparison, accuracy, and control over materials, labor, and overheads.
Main Features for Job Cost Sheet Revisions
- Create Job Cost Sheet Revisions
- Easily generate a new version of an existing job cost sheet. Each revision is automatically numbered (e.g.,REV1, REV2, etc.) for clear version control.
- Draft Status for New Revisions
- Every new revision opens in draft state, so the user can apply updates before confirming or approving it.
- Track Previous and Next Revisions
- Each job cost sheet links to both its previous and next revision, allowing users to understand the flow of changes and navigate between versions quickly.
- Only Latest Revisions Can Be Updated
- Users are only allowed to create a new revision from the most recent version, maintaining data integrity and ensuring clear revision hierarchy.
- Material, Labour, and Overhead Line Copying
- When a revision is created, all related material, labor, and overhead lines are copied to the new sheet, allowing modifications without altering the original data.
- Smart Buttons for Navigation
- Previous Revision and Next Revision buttons on the form view allow fast switching between related revisions.

- A special Revisions tab displays linked revisions for easy access and reference.
