This tool bridges that gap by providing a popup viewer for many common file types ensuring your staff can quickly verify uploads without ever leaving the Odoo page.

Limitations:

This tool is built for basic file upload boxes only. If a specific file box in Odoo has already been changed to do something special like a digital signature pad or a specialized image cropping field the preview button will not appear there. It is designed to quickly open common file types including PDFs and standard images like PNG JPG GIF BMP WEBP and SVG. You can also play videos and music like MP4 WEBM and MP3 or instantly check notes and code snippets like TXT HTML CSS and Javascript. Please be aware that other specialized files such as complex data sheets or heavy native HTML documents cannot be opened in the popup and will still require a standard download.
