It also enhances maintenance workflows with automated checklist and material setups, enabling efficient job order creation and material requisition management all integrated within a user friendly interface.

Key Features of the Underground Utility (Water, gas, and electric) Management Construction App for Odoo

  1. Bid Management
    1. Bids Kanban View for tracking bid stages.
    2. Form view includes Tender Details, Attached Documents, Location Details, and Other Information tabs.
    3. Create Project button visible when "Enable Project Creation" is activated for that bid stage.
    4. Project created is shown under the Other Information tab.
    5. Internal Notes Tab for secure team collaboration.
  2. Estimation and Quotation
    1. Smart Estimate button from Bid opens the Estimation Form View.
    2. Estimates broken down into Material, Labour, and Overhead tabs.
    3. Send by Email button launches a detailed email composer with cost summary.
    4. Email includes total estimate and individual breakdowns.
    5. Customer notifications also available via Chatter.
    6. Approved estimates can generate Sales Quotations via smart button.
    7. Quotation includes reference to the originating Job Estimate.
  3. Job Costing
    1. Job Cost Sheet Wizard allows creation from an estimate.
    2. Form View contains Materials, Labour, and Overhead tabs, along with estimate references.
  4. Job Order Management
    1. Job Orders List and Kanban views for active tracking.
    2. Job Orders include website and Purchase Requisitions details.
    3. Smart Button to access linked Purchase Requisitions.
  5. Contract Management
    1. Contracts Workflow Kanban Board for visual tracking of contract stages.
    2. Contract Form with Contract Details, Plan Details, and Internal Notes tabs for complete documentation.
    3. Create Invoice and Send by Mail buttons are available on the Active Contract stage.
    4. Clicking Create Invoice on the contract opens the related customer invoice (Odoo Standard).
    5. Send by Email button initiates the email composer for sending contracts directly.
    6. Contracts nearing their expiration automatically transition to the Expired Soon stage.
    7. Expired contracts move to the Expired stage with a Renew button to launch a renewal wizard.
    8. Renewal creates a new contract linked to the parent contract for versioning.
    9. Is Contract field is visible on Product Form (Odoo Standard) for service type products.
  6. Equipment Maintenance
    1. Equipment Form includes Maintenance Plan Materials and Maintenance Checklists tabs.
    2. Maintenance Requests auto populate materials and checklists based on Equipment configuration.
    3. Job Orders can be created directly from Maintenance Requests.
    4. Material Requisition Button integrated within the Maintenance Request form.
    5. Material Requisitions List View includes references to related Maintenance Requests and Job Orders.
